Protein Veal and Green Pea Stew

This is an ideal recipe for all of us who don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen preparing complicated meals. Perfectly cooked, tender veal with green peas and nice, soft tomatoes will brighten up your entire day. Cooking time: 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients:

2 lbs veal, tender cuts, boneless and chopped

2 cups green peas

1 medium-sized onion, diced

1 large tomato, diced

3 cups beef broth

1 x 40 gram scoop Blackbelt Whey Protein Concentrate Raw Protein Powder

½ cup tomato paste

1 tsp cayenne pepper, ground

1 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

½ tsp dried thyme, ground

½ tsp red pepper flakes

2 tbsp olive oil

Preparation:

Wash the meat under cold running water and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Rub with salt and set aside.

Grease a deep, heavy-bottomed pot with olive oil. Heat up over medium-high heat and add onions. Stir-fry until translucent. Now add the meat and briefly brown on both sides, for 3-4 minutes. Add tomato, tomato paste, cayenne pepper, and flour. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Finally, pour in the beef broth and add green peas. Season with salt, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Give it a good stir and bring it to a boil. Stir in one scoop of Blackbelt WPC Plain Protein Powder and simmer for one hour over medium-low heat. Stir occasionally.
