Protein Marble Bread

This sweet bread is full of proteins, easy to prepare, and can easily replace your everyday breakfast. Although you can find many different versions of this famous bread recipe, I have chosen to use a bit healthier one. Top with your favorite topping and enjoy!

Serves: 6

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, plus 2 tbsp

¼ tsp salt

2 tbsp water

½ cup butter, melted

2 x 40-gram scoop Blackbelt Whey Protein Concentrate Strawberry

2 tsp baking powder

½ cup stevia

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup sour cream

4 oz cocoa, unsweetened

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8×8 inches square baking pan with some parchment paper and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, protein powder, and baking powder. Stir well and set aside.

In a separate large bowl, combine sugar, sour cream, and butter. Beat well with a hand mixer on high, until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at the time. Continue to beat for two more minutes. Finally, add the flour mixture and beat until fully incorporated.

Divide the mixture evenly into two separate bowls. Stir in cocoa powder into one bowl.

Pour the light batter into the baking pan. Drizzle with the cocoa batter and shake the pan to help the batter to spread out evenly.

Bake for 20 minutes.
